Liverpool defender Kolo Toure has said that he is hoping to be offered a new contract by the club in the next few weeks.
Toure is out of contract at the end of June and reports have suggested that manager Jurgen Klopp will allow the Ivorian to leave Anfield, but the veteran centre-back has insisted that he will respect the decision of his boss regardless of the outcome.
The 35-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I don't know if I will be here next season but I just want to enjoy my time here. It's a fantastic club with fantastic supporters but we will see what will happen.
"I want to stay, of course. It's a good club to be at but the manager has his plan and any decision that he makes I will respect. He's a top manager who knows what he is doing."
Toure has made 26 appearances for the Merseyside giants this season, the last of which came in the club's 3-1 defeat to Sevilla in the Europa League final on Wednesday night.
