Gonzalo Higuain is reportedly keen to join Liverpool this summer, despite a record season with Napoli.
The 28-year-old put his name in the Serie A history books by scoring 36 goals in 35 league games, but the former Real Madrid forward is ready to cut ties with the Italian outfit.
According to The Mirror, Higuain wants a taste of Premier League football and would like to play under Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, but his camp are surprised that the Merseyside club have not yet made an approach.
It is believed that the Argentina international has received a handful of offers from various clubs, and was once linked to Arsenal and Manchester United.
Higuain, who has two years left on his contract, joined Napoli from Real for £34.5m in 2013.
