Barcelona reportedly have no interest in getting rid of goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen during the January transfer window.
The German shot-stopper has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool this month, despite Jurgen Klopp insisting that he is happy with current number one Simon Mignolet.
Ter Stegen has been forced to play second fiddle to Claudio Bravo for much of his Barcelona career so far, although he was in goal through the club's successful Copa del Rey and Champions League campaigns last season.
Even so, the 23-year-old is reportedly unhappy at Camp Nou and would be interested in a move to Anfield.
However, respected Spanish journalist Guillem Balague claims that Barca are unwilling to sell the keeper, who has a £64m release clause in his contract.
Liverpool's current goalkeeping options are Mignolet and Adam Bogdan, both of whom have made costly errors in recent weeks.
