Liverpool goalkeeper Adam Bogdan has completed a season-long loan move to Championship outfit Wigan Athletic.
The 28-year-old, who had been searching for a new club after falling down the pecking order under Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, will join up with the Latics today ahead of a pre-season fixture with Macclesfield Town on Thursday.
"When we found out Adam was available, it was a move I really wanted to push through," said Wigan manager Gary Caldwell.
"He has great experience and will add immense competition for both Jussi Jaaskelainen and Lee Nicholls, which is what you need to drive the club forwards.
"He obviously knows Jussi from his time at Bolton, he knows the area, the training ground is familiar to him and I'm sure he will be a great addition to the squad."
Bogdan made just two Premier League appearances during his debut season with the Reds.
