Luis Suarez says that Liverpool must listen to what he wants if a club tables a bid for the striker during the summer transfer window.

Luis Suarez has urged Liverpool to consider his intentions if the club receive offers for the controversial Uruguayan this summer.

The 26-year-old has been open about his desire to leave the Merseyside outfit, with a transfer to Real Madrid believed to be a possibility for the frontman.

"First I have a contract with the club, but if one day I want to sign [for another club], Liverpool will hear the offer, as it does with other players," Suarez told Marca.

"They must agree with other teams, but the word of the player, in this case mine, is important. If you need a change, you should listen to the player."

Suarez has publicly slammed the British press for how they have treated him during his time in England.
