Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers believes that Daniel Sturridge can become one of Europe's leading strikers in the next few years.
The 24-year-old has been in scintillating form since moving to Anfield from Chelsea for £12m in January, scoring 17 goals in 22 games in the Premier League.
"He's been brilliant," Rodgers told talkSPORT. "He's come here in January with a point to prove. He's very hungry and his goals per game ratio has been remarkable.
"Daniel's a player who produces. He's a natural goalscorer, but he's got so many other things to his game, pace, power and great feet.
"I think in the next few years he could be one of the top strikers in Europe."
Sturridge recently scored in England's 4-1 win over Montenegro.
