Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho is reportedly a doubt for this weekend's Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield following a long-haul flight during the international break.
The 23-year-old was an unused substitute in Brazil's 2-2 draw away to Paraguay on Wednesday morning and will catch a 13-hour flight back to Merseyside.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Coutinho is expected to report to training at Melwood on Thursday and will be assessed as manager Jurgen Klopp is considering giving him a rest following the 6,300-mile trip.
Liverpool are currently ninth in the Premier League table, 17 points behind second-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
