Neymar: 'Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho fits Barcelona style'

Neymar says that his Brazil teammate and Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho would fit into Barcelona's style of play.

Neymar has claimed that Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho would fit well into the Barcelona team.

The 23-year-old signed a new contract at Anfield in February, but has been linked with a move to the Catalan giants.

The playmaker's form at Anfield over the last couple of years has boosted his caps for Brazil, and Neymar has suggested that he wants to play alongside his national teammate at club level too.

"I see many Brazilian players with quality today, but one that I like and I think could play here is Coutinho," ESPN quotes Neymar as saying. "He has the style of Barcelona."

Coutinho joined Liverpool from Inter Milan in 2013.
