Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita says that he is "very motivated" to be a success in the Premier League.

Naby Keita has said that "the Premier League is a tough league", but the Liverpool midfielder is "very motivated" to be a success in English football.

The 23-year-old moved to Liverpool from RB Leipzig during the summer transfer window, and the Guinea international has appeared in all four of his new team's Premier League matches this season.

Keita, who has played in France, Austria and Germany, has said that he has felt support from 'everybody around him' as he targets a long career at Anfield.

"I think it's fair to say that the Premier League is a tough league," Keita told Liverpool's official website. "I'm very motivated to be playing in it – it's an attractive proposition – but I've been told by many people that a lot of overseas players come into the Premier League and they take time to integrate, depending on the circumstances.

"So playing in the Premier League can be difficult, but I am very motivated to play here, not just for myself and my teammates, but for the club. Everybody around me has been very supportive towards me so I am certainly giving everything I can to get settled into the team quickly."

Liverpool will attempt to make it five straight Premier League wins at the start of the 2018-19 campaign when they travel to Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.
