Brad Jones expects bench return

Brad Jones admits that he will not be disappointed to return to the Liverpool bench next week.

Brad Jones has accepted that his spell in goal for Liverpool is now likely to have ended.

The Australian has featured in the club's last two matches because of suspensions to number one Pepe Reina and his understudy Doni.

However, the duo will return for the club's next fixture and Jones is fully prepared to return to the bench.

"I think it will take more than two games to put pressure on Pepe," he said.

"He's done it over, what, six or seven years? At the end of the day, Pepe's one of the best in the world, so I'm not going to be losing any sleep over not playing, no."

The 30-year-old joined the Reds in 2010 from Middlesbrough.
