Former Liverpool defender Alan Hansen has admitted that Reds striker Luis Suarez "goes down too easily".

The Uruguayan has been criticised for diving this season and attracted attention once more with an incident during Sunday's 0-0 draw with Stoke City.

"There's no doubt about it that he goes down very, very easily. The English game is littered with players who go down easily," Hansen told BBC Sport.

Suarez has scored seven goals for Liverpool this season.
