Liverpool's utility player Emre Can appears to have given his backing to the club's reported soon-to-be new manager Jurgen Klopp.
The Merseyside outfit are believed to be hopeful of officially appointing the German coach by the end of the week.
Klopp, who won two Bundesliga titles during a seven-year spell at Borussia Dortmund, became the firm favourite for the job after Brendan Rodgers was sacked on Sunday.
While on international duty with world champions Germany, Can told Die Welt: "Jurgen Klopp is certainly a great coach. I think he has demonstrated in Dortmund that he can work at any team in the world."
Liverpool are 10th in the Premier League table after eight games.
