Rudi Garcia to "honour" Lille contract

Rudi Garcia insists that he will stay on at Lille for the 2013-14 season, claiming that he is "happy" at the French club.

Lille coach Rudi Garcia has insisted that he has no intension of stepping down from his position at the end of the season.

The 49-year-old's current contract with the French club runs out in the summer of 2014.

"I have a year remaining on my contract and I want to honour it," he told Canal Plus. "I have no career plan and I am happy at Lille."

Lille are currently sixth in Ligue 1 with 46 points from 28 matches.
