Leicester City will reportedly move for Sporting Lisbon enforcer William Carvalho in the summer, if they lose the services of N'Golo Kante.
Twenty-five-year-old Kante arrived at the King Power Stadium from Caen for £5.4m almost 12 months ago.
However, the midfielder is expected to attract some big-money bids at the end of the season, having produced a string of impressive displays to help leave the Foxes on the verge of Premier League glory.
According to The Sun, should Kante be convinced that his future lies elsewhere, manager Claudio Ranieri has identified Carvalho as the ideal replacement.
The Portugal international, who has previously been linked with Manchester United and Arsenal, is believed to have been valued at around £20m by Sporting.
