Leicester City manager Claude Puel insists that his job at the King Power Stadium is a case of "evolution" rather than revolution.

Leicester City manager Claude Puel has claimed that his job at the King Power Stadium is a case of "evolution" rather than revolution.

Craig Shakespeare's successor got off to a winning start as Foxes boss with a 2-0 win over Everton last weekend.

Although Leicester are just four points above the bottom three at present, Puel insists that he is thinking about the club's long-term future rather than considering the role as a short-term fix.

"This week we continue to try to work but it's an evolution because we cannot change everything just in a few days," Puel told Sky Sports News.

"It's important to continue this work but also to continue some bits with the players because it's important they can play their game with confidence."

Up next for Leicester is Saturday's Premier League trip to Stoke City.
