Uwe Rosler "very proud" of Leeds United performance

Leeds United boss Uwe Rosler questions the officials' decision to add on six additional minutes, as his side let slip a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 against Bristol City.

Uwe Rosler has declared himself "very proud" of his Leeds United players, despite seeing them throw away a two-goal lead against Bristol City.

The Whites led through goals from Mirco Antenucci and Chris Wood at Ashton Gate.

City, still without a win since their promotion to the Championship, stormed back with two goals of their own in the final stages of the game.

Aden Flint's dramatic leveller to rescue a 2-2 draw came deep into injury time, after the officials added on six minutes at the end of the contest, to leave Rosler stunned.

"Everybody in the stadium got excited when they got their first goal and that included the referee," the 46-year-old is quoted as saying by the Yorkshire Evening Post.

"He got very excited. The crowd couldn't believe it when they saw six minutes. They thought it was carnival time, another boost. A third away game in six games, my boys did terrific.

"I'm disappointed that we didn't see it out but it was an honest, whole-hearted performance. Nothing should take anything away from that performance. I'm very happy and very proud."

Like their opponents, Leeds are also still without a win this season following three successive draws.
