Former Juventus striker David Trezeguet has claimed that Paul Pogba can become one of the club's greats if he chooses to ignore interest in him this summer.
Pogba has been repeatedly linked with a move to one of the other top European clubs in recent months, but Trezeguet believes that his fellow Frenchman has the ability to lead Juventus to a long spell of success ahead of Saturday's Champions League final with Barcelona.
"Paul, for his age, is impressive. He has the technique, the speed, and he is very well placed on the pitch," Trezeguet, who now serves as a club ambassador, told RMC Sport.
"He showed in a short time all his qualities and he has become very important for the club. He gained confidence, and is very appreciated by his teammates.
"He is aware that he can make a mark on the club's history. For the future, my advice to him is to stay. He could mark the history of Juventus. The club can build around him and we are already working on it. He knows all that."
Reports on Wednesday suggested that Pogba would prefer a move to Barcelona ahead of Manchester City.
