Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba will reportedly turn down a move to Manchester City in order to join Barcelona.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a host of Europe's leading sides since making his breakthrough for the Turin club.
It was reported on Friday that City were challenging La Liga champions Barcelona for the Frenchman's signature.
City are prepared to offer Pogba a £45m package to move to the Etihad Stadium, according to the Daily Star. However, the report adds that he wants to join Barcelona instead and is prepared to wait 12 months for a transfer to Spain.
The Catalan giants are banned from bringing any new faces in until 2016 after being found guilty of breaching FIFA's rules on signing youth players.
Pogba is expected to face Barcelona in Saturday's Champions League final in Berlin.
