Preview: Ipswich Town vs. Bolton Wanderers

Sports Mole previews Saturday's Championship clash between Ipswich Town and Bolton Wanderers.

Ipswich Town welcome in-form Bolton Wanderers to Portman Road on Saturday afternoon, looking for three points to ease their relegation concerns.

Mick McCarthy's side have been inconsistent of late, winning two, losing two and drawing two of their last six games. Last week's 0-0 stalemate with fellow strugglers Peterborough United leaves the Suffolk club four points ahead of the drop zone.

Bolton have won their last five games in a row, including last Saturday's 1-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion, which has moved the Trotters to within three points of the playoff places.

Ipswich winger Lee Martin serves the second of his three-match ban following his red card at Nottingham Forest on March 5. Richard Stearman could return to the starting XI after serving the one-match suspension he picked up in the same match.

Bolton boss Dougie Freedman could have Adam Bogdan available after the goalkeeper missed his side's last two games with a groin injury. Stuart Holden and Marvin Sordell are also in contention to start.
