Team News: Rodrigo Palacio leads line for Inter Milan

Rodrigo Palacio is trusted to lead the line for Inter Milan at Catania tonight in Serie A.

Inter Milan coach Walter Mazzarri has decided to stick with Rodrigo Palacio in a lone front role at Catania this evening.

Palacio was on target as Inter started their Serie A campaign with a 2-0 win over Genoa, and he continues in attack tonight, supported by Ricky Alvarez and Mateo Kovacic in advanced midfield roles.

Diego Milito is still out for the visitors, but Walter Samuel has recovered from injury to take a place on the bench.

Catania are without Pablo Barrientos this evening, amid rumours that he is close to agreeing a late summer switch to a Qatari club.

Catania: Andujar, P. Alvarez, Legrottaglie, Spolli, Monzon, Izco, Tachtsidis, Almiron, Castro, Bergessio, Leto

Inter: Handanovic, Juan Jesus, Ranocchia, Campagnaro, Jonathan, Guarin, Kovacic, Cambiasso, Nagatomo, R Alvarez, Palacio
