Inter Milan defender Maicon has quashed rumours that he is to leave the Serie A club.
The Brazilian international was linked with moves to Manchester City and Real Madrid over the summer after an agent had said that the player wanted out of the San Siro.
However, the 30-year-old has said that the agent speaking on his behalf was not his agent at all.
"It was said I'd leave Inter but that was said by an agent who isn't my agent," said Maicon.
"The only person that can talk about me and who can represent me is Roberto Calenda, my agent.
"There's no truth whatsoever regarding talk of me and a transfer, I'm working hard to contribute to this team and that's it."
Maicon moved to Inter from Monaco in 2006.
