Hoffenheim 3-1 Hannover

Hoffenheim pick up their first points of the season with a 3-1 win over Hannover in the Bundesliga this afternoon.

Hoffenheim have picked up their first points of the Bundesliga season by beating in-form Hannover 3-1 this afternoon.

Hannover took the lead in fortuitous circumstances after 26 minutes when Matthieu Delpierre steered the ball into his own net.

Hoffenheim were back level within a minute, however, as Fabian Johnson scored to give them a perfect reaction to going behind.

The hosts' second goal came in the 82nd minute after Kevin Volland found Sejad Salihovic, who made no mistake with his effort.

The game was finally put to bed in stoppage time after more good work from Volland, who this time linked up with Daniel Williams, the latter of whom made it 3-1.
