Sports Mole looks at how Georgia could line up for Wednesday's clash with Portugal in Group F of Euro 2024.

Following their first-ever point in a major tournament against the Czech Republic on Saturday, Georgia are expected to name an unchanged team for a tricky-looking clash with Portugal in Group F of Euro 2024.

Finding the net last time out, Ajax striker Georges Mikautadze is an early frontrunner of the competition's Golden Boot race, and the 23-year-old is set to lead the Crusaders' attack once again on Wednesday.

Despite failing to provide a goal or an assist so far during these championships, Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia remains the shining light for Georgia, with the forward hoping to score his 16th international goal in his country's final match of the section.

Making a grand total of 11 saves to help Willy Sagnol's side secure a share of the spoils on the weekend, Giorgi Mamardashvili is a certainty to keep his spot in between the sticks, with the Valencia goalkeeper in line for a busy evening versus Cristiano Ronaldo and company.

There are a trio of Georgian stars who picked up yellow cards in Saturday's contest and are therefore one caution away from being unavailable for a potential round-of-16 game, with captain Guram Kashia, Anzor Mekvabishvili and Levante's Giorgi Kochorashvili all walking a suspension tightrope.

Although the back three of the Crusaders appears relatively stable, there could be an alteration at wing-back, with Heorhiy Tsitaishvili not always seeming confident on the biggest of continental stages so far, meaning that Luka Lochoshvili has a chance of being promoted from the bench.

Plying his trade at Watford in the Championship, Giorgi Chakvetadze is set to provide an attacking option for the Euro newcomers off the bench on Wednesday night, when only maximum points is likely to be enough for Georgia to progress into the knockout stages.

Georgia possible starting lineup: Mamardashvili; Kverkveliya, Kashia, Dvali; Kakabadze, Mekvabishvili, Kochorashvili, Tsitaishvili; Davitashvili, Kvaratskhelia; Mikautadze
