Clint Dempsey has confirmed for a second time that he would like to play Champions League football.
In recent weeks the Fulham midfielder has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Manchester United, both of whom have qualified for the elite tournament next season.
Despite saying that he is focused on playing for the Whites, Dempsey refused to deny his desire to play for a bigger club.
"The transfer window is open until August 31," said Dempsey. "It is no secret that I would like to play Champions League one day in my career.
"If it's meant to be, it will be."
Dempsey has 12 months remaining on his contact at Craven Cottage.
