Team News: Wholesale changes for Fiorentina, Roma

Serie A rivals Fiorentina and Roma make five and six changes respectively ahead of their Europa League last-16 first leg at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Fiorentina have made five changes ahead of their Europa League last-16 first leg against Roma at the Stadio Artemio Franchi this evening.

Marcos Alonso, Gonzalo Rodriguez, David Pizarro, Borja Valero and Joaquin are reinstated to the Viola starting XI following their 4-0 humbling at the hands of Lazio last week.

Serie A rivals Roma, meanwhile, see six changes to their starting lineup, as former Arsenal players Ashley Cole and Gervinho are dropped to the bench, while talisman Francesco Totti is out with a calf injury.

As with previous Europa League games, Lukasz Skorupski is selected in goal ahead of first-choice stopper Morgan De Sanctis.

Fiorentina: Neto, Tomovic, Rodriguez, Basanta, Alonso, Badelj, Pizarro, Borja Valero, Salah, Ilicic, Joaquin

Roma: Skorupski, Torosidis, Yanga Mbiwa, Manolas, Holebas, Keita, Nainggolan, De Rossi, Florenzi, Ljajic, Iturbe
