Preview: Everton vs. Crystal Palace

Sports Mole looks ahead to Wednesday's Premier League encounter between Everton and Crystal Palace at Goodison Park.

Everton will be eager to get back to winning ways on Wednesday night when they host Crystal Palace at Goodison Park in the Premier League.

The Toffees lost for the second time in three games on Sunday as they were beaten 1-0 at Tottenham Hotspur.

Victory for Roberto Martinez's side in midweek would give their chances of European qualification a big boost.

Meanwhile, strugglers Palace make the trip to Merseyside full of confidence thanks to two wins in their last three matches.

Their most recent triumph came on Saturday, beating West Bromwich Albion 3-1 at Selhurst Park to move three points clear of the relegation zone.

Romelu Lukaku recently returned to training for the hosts, but he is unlikely to feature on Wednesday. Antolin Alcaraz, Arouna Kone and Darron Gibson all remain out of action.

Cameron Jerome is the only injury doubt for the away side.
