Everton's Romelu Lukaku expected to return to action next weekend

Everton manager Roberto Martinez says on-loan striker Romelu Lukaku should be fit for action next weekend after suffering an ankle injury in January.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that on-loan striker Romelu Lukaku should return to action next weekend.

The Belgium international has been on the sidelines since suffering an ankle injury during the Toffees' 4-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on January 28.

"We had positive news on Romelu," Everton's official Twitter page quotes Martinez as saying.

"He's back with us and will be ready very soon - we're looking at next weekend."

The Merseyside outfit will take on Crystal Palace at Goodison tomorrow.
