Everton to discuss Gareth Barry future in the summer

Everton manager Roberto Martinez says that he will discuss Gareth Barry's future at the end of the season.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that the club will sit down with midfielder Gareth Barry at the end of the season to discuss his future.

The 32-year-old moved to Goodison Park in the summer from Manchester City on a season-long loan deal and has impressed since his arrival.

"The idea with Gareth was to make sure he could return to his best and enjoy playing for Everton," the club's official Twitter page quotes Martinez as saying. "We'll sit down in the summer."

The Toffees are currently sixth in the Premier League table.
