Roberto Martinez: 'Everton ready for Manchester United'

Roberto Martinez insists that Everton are "ready" for Wednesday's trip to Manchester United in the Premier League.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has insisted that his players are "ready" for Wednesday's trip to Manchester United in the Premier League.

The fifth-placed Toffees travel to Old Trafford two points above the champions in the table.

Despite a potentially difficult match for his side, Martinez believes that the Merseysiders can earn a positive result against the Red Devils.

"I do feel the game at Old Trafford is as big a test as we are going to get but after 13 games in the league I feel we are ready for that," Sky Sports News quotes him as saying.

"The success of a team over the course of a season is measured when you can be yourself wherever you go and whoever you face."

Everton head into the match on the back of Saturday's comfortable 4-0 win at home to Stoke City.
