Everton midfielder Tom Davies confirms that he will be out until next season due to a hamstring injury.

Everton midfielder Tom Davies is set to be out of action for the rest of the season.

The 23-year-old has only made five appearances in the Premier League this season due to injury problems, scoring once in the process, but he is not expected to play again throughout this campaign.

The midfielder suffered a hamstring issue, and he underwent surgery last month to fix the issue, which resulted in the club opting to keep him out of the squad list for the second half of the campaign.

Davies responded to a comment on his Instagram page, asking when fans could expect to see him return to the pitch, and he was clear with his answer, "next season."

The Toffees star has dealt with a knee problem, which was then followed by a thigh issue while he was rehabilitating, but he remains on the shelf for the foreseeable future.

Everton will be back in action on Saturday when they face Southampton in the Premier League.
