Dunfermline Athletic move to the top of the Scottish League One table after a big 4-0 win away to former leaders Forfar.

Dunfermline have moved to the top of Scottish League One after a comfortable 4-0 away win over former leaders Forfar Athletic.

The visitors started brightly as Joe Cardle gave them the lead after just four minutes before he scored his second on the stroke of half time.

Cardle completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute and Andrew Geggan scored a header late on.

Peterhead dropped out of the top four after a 1-1 draw at home to Albion Rovers.

Jordon Brown broke the deadlock after 25 minutes with a header from close range before Ally Love levelled the match just before the break.

Airdrieonians came from behind to beat Cowdenbeath 3-2 at home in a five-goal thriller.
