Dundee United's Nadir Ciftci wins appeal against two-match ban

Dundee United's Nadir Ciftci has his two-match ban scrapped following successful appeal to the Scottish FA.

Dundee United forward Nadir Ciftci has won his appeal against a two-match ban.

The 23-year-old was initially given a suspension after appearing to kick Scott Brown during his side's 1-1 draw with Celtic in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup.

However, the appeal has been successful and Ciftci will be free to feature in the Scottish League Cup final against Celtic on Sunday.

Earlier today, Virgil van Dijk had his red card rescinded, which was issued during the melee following the incident.
