Nigel Clough commits his future to Derby County, ruling out any possibility of his taking over at Nottingham Forest.

Nigel Clough has ruled out the possibility of becoming the new manager of Nottingham Forest.

The current Derby County boss has been heavily linked with the vacancy at the City Ground following Steve McClaren's resignation last week.

However, the 45-year-old former Forest attacker has confirmed that he currently sees his future at Pride Park.

"[Derby] is where our heart is," Clough told Sky Sports News. "We'd like the opportunity to continue the work that we started here."

Clough is reportedly in negotiations with County regarding a new deal.
