Roberto Mancini interested in Crystal Palace job?

Former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is reportedly interested in replacing Alan Pardew at Crystal Palace.

Former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is reportedly interested in replacing Alan Pardew at Crystal Palace.

The Italian, who won the Premier League and the FA Cup during his four years with the Citizens, was most recently manager of Serie A giants Inter Milan but left the side just before the start of the new season.

According to The Mirror, Mancini has 'declared an interest' in the top job at Palace as pressure intensifies on Pardew following the Eagles' sixth successive league defeat.

Reports have suggested that Pardew will be shown the door should the losing streak extend to seven games with a home defeat to Southampton on Saturday, with Pardew himself admitting to reporters that the club "is in crisis at the moment".

Other names in the frame to succeed Pardew include former England manager Sam Allardyce, Wales boss Chris Coleman and former Porto and Fenerbahce coach Vitor Pereira.
