Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie has said that new signing Yohan Cabaye has lifted everyone at the club.
Cabaye joined Palace in July for a fee of £10m after failing to settle in at Paris Saint-Germain.
"He is top class, you could see if from the first day, a real 'baller' as we like to say," the Congolese international told Goal.com. "His first touch is like nothing I have come across before.
"He is already looking towards his next move before he gets the ball as he knows he is taking down any ball that comes to him. And you can already see that rubbing off on everyone, but he has fitted in so well, you would not know he has just come in from Paris Saint-Germain."
Bolasie also insisted that a new contract is possible, amid reports of clubs scouting him.
"I understand that [contract talks with Palace] are ongoing, but my only concern is making the right start ahead of the new season," he said.
"My only thoughts at this moment is winning at Norwich City - it sounds boring but in the Premier League you cannot afford to be looking ahead, every game is winnable but by the same token every game could end in defeat so you always have to be switched on."
Bolasie, 26, scored four goals and contributed six assists in 34 league appearances last season.
