Bryan Ruiz confident ahead of Netherlands game

Bryan Ruiz stresses that Costa Rica "have nothing to lose" when they face the Netherlands in the World Cup quarter-finals.

Costa Rica captain Bryan Ruiz has stressed that his side "have nothing to lose" when they take on the Netherlands in the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

Los Ticos progressed through Group D as winners, before seeing off Greece on penalties last time out to book a meeting with the Dutch in Salvador tomorrow night.

"We have nothing to lose," Ruiz told FIFA.com. "We've come so far and done so much, but we want more. We want to continue on and see how far this can go."

Costa Rica have never previously reached the last eight of the showpiece event.
