Spain come from 2-0 down to force a draw against Costa Rica in San Jose.

A stoppage-time goal from David Villa forced a 2-2 draw for World Champions Spain when they took on Costa Rica in San Jose.

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas gifted the Costa Ricans their first goal just after the half hour mark when he fumbled the ball near the edge of the penalty area and Randall Brenes took advantage of the empty net.

One of Arsenal's latest signings, teenager Joel Campbell, extended the home side's lead just before half time with a left-foot effort from distance.

Spain came out fighting in the second half with Cesc Fabregas and Iniesta both having chances come close, before substitute David Silva netted in the 83rd minute.

Villa forced the draw in stoppage time when he headed in a Santi Cazorla free kick.
