Southampton are reportedly preparing to make a £25m offer for Chelsea forward Armando Broja.
The 20-year-old has excelled on loan at St Mary's during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring seven times and contributing one assist in 21 appearances in all competitions.
As it stands, Broja is due to return to his parent club this summer, and a recent report claimed that the Blues had first-team plans for the Albania international, who recently penned a new long-term deal at Stamford Bridge.
However, Southampton are believed to be determined to secure his services on a permanent basis this month, and according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Saints a preparing a club-record £25m offer.
Romano claims that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is a 'big admirer' of Broja, and it is currently unclear whether the European Cup holders would be prepared to enter into transfer discussions.
West Ham United have also been credited with an interest in the Albanian, who has only played four minutes of first-team football for Chelsea, featuring against Everton in the Premier League in March 2020.
