Chelsea captain John Terry will reportedly be offered a fresh contract in the New Year.
The former England international's deal expires at the end of the current campaign, and the Blues are preparing to make the 32-year-old a new offer, according to The People.
It has been reported that the deal is likely to be a one-year extension of his current one and is being drawn up after manager Jose Mourinho asked the club to help further the defender's stay at Stamford Bridge.
Terry grabbed the equaliser in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
