Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed that striker Loic Remy has joined Chelsea.
According to reports, the Frenchman was in the QPR team to face Sunderland on Saturday until Chelsea triggered his £10.5m release clause just hours before the game.
Speaking to reporters before kick-off, Redknapp said: "It looks like it [Remy's move] is done. As far as I know it's to Chelsea."
Remy reportedly offered to play at Loftus Road, but Redknapp eventually made the decision to leave him out of the squad.
The French international scored 14 goals in the Premier League last season during a loan spell with Newcastle United.
