Paris Saint-Germain want Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic

Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc wants Branislav Ivanovic and is prepared to offer Chelsea £8m plus add-ons for the versatile defender.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has reportedly identified Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic as his top defensive transfer target this summer.

Blanc wants the Serbian full-back to replace Gregory van der Wiel in the French capital, with the Dutch international in talks to join Inter Milan on a season-long loan move.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has made no indication that Ivanovic is for sale this summer, but according to The Mirror, PSG will test his stance with an £8m bid including add-ons.

Ivanovic declared that he is impressed with Mourinho earlier this week on his return to pre-season training with the Blues.

The 29-year-old has spent six seasons at Stamford Bridge, making more than 200 appearances in all competitions.
