Emerson Palmieri 'unlikely to leave Chelsea in January'

Emerson Palmieri is unlikely to leave Chelsea in January despite interest from Juventus, according to a report.

Emerson Palmieri is reportedly unlikely to leave Chelsea during the January transfer window despite the speculation surrounding the left-back's future.

The 25-year-old has made 13 appearances for the Blues during the 2019-20 campaign, including 10 outings in the Premier League.

Juventus are believed to be interested in bringing the Italy international back to Serie A, though, and there have been suggestions of a potential bid at the start of 2020.

However, according to Goal.com, while Juve are keen on a move for the defender, a deal is unlikely to take place in the middle of the current campaign.

Marcos Alonso has also been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge amid suggestions that Frank Lampard's side want to sign Ben Chilwell from Leicester City.

The Blues are free to conduct business in January having had their transfer ban reduced on appeal.
