Chelsea reportedly turn their attention to Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski, who has one year remaining on his current contract.

Chelsea are reportedly considering a swoop for Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski as a back-up plan for failing to land Napoli star Edinson Cavani.

The Blues are thought to be in the chase for Cavani, but the striker's father Luis has revealed that he has chosen to sign for Real Madrid this summer.

If Chelsea are unable to clinch Cavani's signature, it is believed that they will try to poach Lewandowski from last season's Champions League runners-up, according to The Telegraph.

Lewandowski, who has one year remaining on his contract, has also been linked with Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Barcelona.
