Wolfsburg defender Maxence Lacroix has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Chelsea.
The Blues, who have qualified for the Champions League final, have been frequently linked with potential additions in the final third ahead of next season.
However, according to Sky Deutschland, Thomas Tuchel is open to strengthening his backline with the signing of Lacroix.
The 21-year-old has been a major hit in his first campaign in the Bundesliga, making 28 starts and one substitute outing for the Champions League-chasing outfit.
While the report suggests that Wolfsburg want to retain the services of the Frenchman, it says that they may be tempted into selling the centre-back for £26m.
Chelsea are already well stocked for options in that area of the pitch, with Tuchel having six players at his disposal.
