Celtic to take Chelsea duo Charly Musonda, Lewis Baker on loan?

A report claims that Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers wants to bring in Charly Musonda and Lewis Baker from Chelsea on short-term deals.

Scottish champions Celtic have targeted loan moves for young Chelsea duo Charly Musonda and Lewis Baker, according to a report.

The Hoops are said to have already missed out on Musonda once before, having had a similar approach knocked back by the Blues in the summer.

A lack of first-team opportunities in the first half of 2017-18 may see Chelsea's stance change, though, and the Daily Mail suggests that they are once again in for the Belgian midfielder.

Baker, currently on loan at Championship side Middlesbrough, is rumoured to be another option for Brendan Rodgers as the Smoggies are due to send him back to Chelsea early.

Blues boss Antonio Conte, the report claims, is happy for both players to spend the second half of the campaign away from Stamford Bridge.
