Chelsea are reportedly considering joining the race to sign Monaco winger Thomas Lemar.
In recent weeks, both Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with a move for Lemar, having failed to add the French international to their respective squads during the summer.
However, according to L'Equipe, the Blues are now weighing up the possibility of making a bid for the player, who is said to be valued in the region of £80m.
Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has Eden Hazard, Willian and Pedro at his disposal, while youngster Charly Musonda has just penned a new deal at Stamford Bridge, but it appears that the Italian is keen to strengthen his squad given that the club sit 11 points off the pace in the Premier League.
Despite a mass exodus at Stade Louis II during the summer, Lemar remained at the Ligue 1 champions, but the 22-year-old has contributed just one goal and three assists in 14 matches in France's top flight and the Champions League this season.
Lemar still has two-and-a-half years remaining on his existing deal.
