AC Milan have reportedly identified out-of-favour Chelsea centre-back Andreas Christensen as a January transfer target.
Christensen has struggled for first-team football since Maurizio Sarri's summer arrival at Stamford Bridge and is yet to make a single appearance in the Premier League this season.
Chelsea are reportedly determined to keep the 22-year-old, while Christensen himself has hinted that he is unlikely to leave in January despite being unhappy with his current situation.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Milan are still interested in the Denmark international and will look to prise him away from Stamford Bridge when the transfer window reopens.
Milan are understood to be in the market for defensive reinforcements due to injury issues and believe that Christensen could be an ideal signing.
Christensen made 40 appearances across all competitions during Antonio Conte's final year in charge but has made just six so far this term.
