AC Milan reportedly contact the representatives of Cesc Fabregas to discuss a deal for the Chelsea midfielder.

AC Milan have reportedly contacted the representatives of Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas to discuss a deal for the Spaniard.

Fabregas, who joined Chelsea from Barcelona in the summer of 2014, made 49 appearances in all competitions for the Blues during the 2017-18 campaign.

The central midfielder has only played 48 minutes of Premier League football for Chelsea this term, however, and is expected to leave Stamford Bridge when his contract expires this summer.

Inter Milan, Galatasaray and Atletico Madrid have all been linked with the 31-year-old, but according to Calciomercato, Milan have contacted Fabregas over a move to San Siro.

Fabregas would be free to sign a pre-contract with a foreign club at the start of January with the view to a switch at the end of the campaign.
