Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo says that he would "obey" a future law stating that players should be sacked if found guilty of racial abuse.

Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has insisted that he will "obey" any future rules that state that players should be dismissed from the club if they are found guilty of racial abuse.

Blues captain John Terry was banned by the Football Association for four matches for racially abusing Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand during a West London derby last year.

When asked if guilty players should be sacked, Di Matteo said, "If the majority believes we need a law like that we will obey it," according to PA Sport.

The Professional Footballers' Association have announced a six-point action plan to stamp down on racism within the game.
