Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has disagreed with referee Mike Jones's decision to dismiss Cesc Fabregas in the Blues' 3-0 defeat away at West Bromwich Albion on Monday night.
The hosts took the lead through Saido Berahino, but the Blues soon went on to dominate proceedings on the pitch until the half-hour mark, when the ex-Arsenal midfielder was sent off for kicking the ball at Chris Brunt.
Berahino bagged himself a second goal after the restart before Brunt got his own back on Chelsea by killing the game off with a third unanswered strike on the hour.
Mourinho told reporters after the game: "I think one of the top referees would have resolved the situation with words, but [the referee] chose to give a red card, which I disagree with completely.
"What Fabregas did didn't hurt anyone - he shouldn't do it, but I don't think that the red card was fair."
The defeat matters little to Chelsea in terms of permutations as they have already won the Premier League.
